Great Christmas Gift Great idea, as this shows a young one how to capture and review memories. My daughter started capturing her memories and something occurred to her that she thought should go in to one of the vials. We'll see what that was when she's ready to bring me to the pensive and show me.I like all the quotes scattered throughout the journal Bought this for my son. He loves it. I like all the quotes scattered throughout the journal. He likes the look of the journal with the replica pensive. The wand pen is adorable and detailed. The vials are a bit flimsy but overall I’m pleased with the quality of this set.High Price, Cheap Quality I was super stoked when I pre-ordered this item and ended up being a little let-down after seeing the actual product. The graphics on the box are gorgeous, the cover of the journal looks just like the pensieve, the elder wand looks pretty close to Albus Dumbledore's wand in the movies ... that's where the good stuff ends. The vials, as beautiful as they appear, are made of a cheap thin plastic with very little weight to them. Had the quality of the vials, the latch, and the faux gold leaf been better, I would have kept for my Harry Potter collection.
